Sad News Veteran Actor Prince James Uche is dead.
Sad report reaching us this evening! After a prolonged battle with Diabetes and some illness,Veteran Nollywood Actor, Prince James Uche has passed on. He died yesterday, Wednesday, 8th March.
A member of his financial aid campaign team, actress Chioma Okoye shared the news on her Instagram page.
The actor was meant to travel to India this Saturday, March 11th for his surgery, but sadly passed on yesterday.

Ghanian man arrested for killing Nigerian sex worker.
Sackey is said to have handed himself over to the police after stabbing the said prostitute two times in the stomach and thigh.
He is said to have approached the woman, identified only as Tina, a Nigerian, for sex at a drinking spot at Baatsona, near the Spintex Road, in Accra, at about 8 p.m. last Wednesday after having some drinks with his male friends.
After drinking some bottles of liquor, the two are said to have agreed on a fee for the service and they went off to Sackey’s house where they spent the night.
Stolen money
The Accra Regional Police Command Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mrs Effia Tenge told the Daily Graphic that according to Sackey, after several bouts of sexual intercourse with the woman, he went to the washroom to freshen up at about 2 a.m.
When he returned, he saw the woman going through his belongings in the bedroom and realised that GH¢120 cash had been stolen.
Mrs Tenge said Sackey told the police that he immediately accused the woman of stealing the money but she denied it.
“In the heat of an ensuing argument, the woman is said to have pulled a knife from her bag and attempted to stab Sackey,” she said.
However, according to Mrs Tenge, Sackey told the police that a scuffle ensued and in the course of the struggle he overpowered the woman and the knife mistakenly injured her in the stomach.
She said Sackey locked his room and then went to the Psychiatric Hospital to report the issue where he was directed by the hospital authorities to report himself to the police.
Victim’s identity
After receiving the news, Mrs Tenge said police officers went to the Manet Gardens Apartment of Sackey where the body of the victim was found lying in a pool of blood.
A careful assessment of the body by the police, she said, revealed that the victim had a knife wound in the stomach and on the thigh, indicating that she had been stabbed twice.
The body has since been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue for preservation.
The deceased is yet to be identified by the family since the suspect claimed it was the first time they had met at the drinking spot.
Some neighbours of the suspect claimed he had a mental disorder, but the police are yet to verify that information.

He said he actually loves the girl very much, ‘I told her to go and look for any man that will make her a woman, then she should come back, because I will be waiting for her’. We all were looking at him like an alien. How could you claim to be in love with her, yet give her the express permission to go and get laid by a stranger and you are still ready to keep her as your lover? While there are men who wont mind to travel the whole of this earth to wherever she is to have the opportunity to have the feel of virginity, there are men who don’t care if a woman is a virgin or how many men she has had sex with. Different strokes for different folks.
What are your intentions for wanting to know how many sex partners your girlfriend has had in the past?
What if she tells you she has slept with more than 10 men? Would you freak out? Would you walk away no matter how much you love her? What number to you is a No-no? Ridiculous.
To me so long as she is not having sex with any one else while you are dating her, whatever she did in the past should be between her and her conscience. It’s a “don’t ask, don’t tell” situation. Your concern should be to have open discussions on how she likes it and how you both can drive each other to orgasm.
I repeat that I feel it’s nobody’s business how many sexual partners you have had in the past, so long as you are faithful to the one you are with right now.
I also feel you should be more concerned with STDs than you are about how many past sex partners.
There are people who have had protected sex with more than 10 partners at different times and are clean, (I am talking physical before some of us go spiritual on me) and not with any form of infection neither has she had any abortion, but there are also people who have had unprotected sex with only one partner all their lives and are walking around with different STDs, and have also had several abortions for this one partner.
What if she tells you the truth that she has slept with over 10 men, would you walk away or still be with her?
What if she tells you a white lie by giving you just a lower figure, e.g 2, as the answer? Would you believe her and stick around? Honest truth that you seek vs a white lie, which would you go with?
Also, rest assured that in the nearest future, as a woman when certain arguments arise, some petty partners might use your number information to insult you. For example: who knows how many abortions you had for the five men you slept with that had made it impossible for you to conceive till now. I bet that’s gonna hurt.To drive home my point, most men who are very concerned with numbers to me are insecure and overly possessive, they are men who would marry a woman today for the fact that they just found out she’s a virgin, forgetting that virginity, compatibility, understanding, love, loyalty, faithfulness etc are all different things to individuals and components of a good relationship.
Why do you want to know how many men she has slept with?
Of what use is the answer to your love for her?
How much of the truth can you handle?
Are you looking for just a fault to walk away, because she’s near perfect in every other aspects?
As for me, I’d advise you keep your numbers to yourself or tell a white lie if he insists.

How Tonto dikeh allegly pulled a gun on ex husband's brother
In a video uploaded on YouTube by Ghanaian media outlet, Asempa News, Oppong could be seen reading a statement allegedly written by Churchill during one of his fights with Tonto.
Churchill in the statement alleged that Tonto broke things in his Trasacco Estate house in worth $15,000 and took his gun, with which she threatened to shoot his houseboy and brother.
He also claimed that the Nollywood actress came with petrol to burn the building.
Few days ago, Tonto narrated the pain she faced in her marriage to Churchill, in an interview with Azuka Ogujiuba accusing him of domestic violence and adultery.
60 survives as Luxurious Bus, petrol tanker crashed in Awka
An eye witness, Mr. John Obi, said that the bus with plate number LAGOS KRD 730 XJ, belonging to Young Shall Grow motors, took off from Onitsha and was heading for Taraba State.
Obi said the passenger bus, which was descending the Kwata bridge just before the popular UNIZIK junction in Awka, on top speed was trying to avoid an unmarked petrol tanker.
He said that the tanker was turning on the Expressway after discharging its content at a nearby filling station.
He said though, no live was lost but some passengers sustained various degrees of injuries.
One of the victims, who identified himself as Chukwudi said he was thankful to God for the narrow escape but was not psychologically balanced to speak further.
“I just thank God, because this could have been my last day, for me I thank God,” he said.
Another passenger, Hajiya Rekia, a nursing mother was just shouting “Nagode Allah, Nagode Allah” (thank God).”
The Vice Chairman of Red Cross Society in Anambra, Prof. Peter Katchy, whose team was part of the rescue team confirmed that there was no death but few passengers sustained minor injuries which had been treated.
Katchy called on the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) to restore the electric pole that was knocked down and remove cables lying dangerously on the Expressway.
“It was a serious crash and we responded immediately but thank God no death was recorded.
“We have called on the EEDC to immediately remove the pole and wire from the highway.
“We do not know the immediate cause but it would be known after our investigation,” he said.
Meanwhile, combined team of Police, FRSC, NSCDC personnel, and the state Fire Service were at the scene of the accident.
When contacted, Sector Commander, FRSC in Anambra State, Mr. Sunday Ajayi, could not be reached for reaction as the officers at the scene said they were not in a position to talk. (NAN)

How my 16years old child died of negligence.
But for Mariam Nnenna Ogbe, Wednesday, March 1, was not a good day. It was a tragic day – a day of tears and anguish. It was the day the widow, who lost her husband 12 years ago, lost her only son.
A few minutes after 2pm on that fateful day, her phone rang. It was a distress call from ASACS International Staff School, Bwari, Abuja. Her son, Michael Ogbe, was an SS3 student at the school. Immediately she picked the call, the voice from the other end informed her about the sudden misfortune that had visited her son, and which resulted in the lad’s premature death.
She quickly abandoned what she was doing where she worked and rushed to the school to know what could have happened.
ASACS, a school that serves as staff school for Dorben Polytechnic, is located directly behind First Bank and also shares a fence wall with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in Bwari, Abuja.
The school is owned by the founder of Dorben Polytechnic, Dr. A.B Ekwere. The school runs day and boarding services, and has students from different parts of the federal capital.
March 1
On that fateful day, the late 16-year-old Michael, who was the only son of his parents, was engaged in sporting activities along with other students in the school premises when the sad incident occurred.
Investigations by the reporter confirmed that Michael had earlier in the morning complained to the school authorities, precisely the school clinic, that he wasn’t strong enough to engage in sporting activities.
It was gathered that the school has not had a sports master for quite a long time. It was also gathered that, though the school has a clinic, the facility wasn’t equipped to cater to the medical needs of hundreds of students attending the school.
A student that pleaded anonymity said the school clinic had no qualified doctors and nurses to attend to the medical needs of students, even on a sports day.
Another student asserted that Michael had earlier in the morning complained of ill health.
“He visited the school clinic in the morning, but a nurse on duty asked him to take his breakfast first and then return for medication.
“Michael, after the meal, felt a bit stronger and immediately joined his friends on the pitch. I assumed that he totally forgot that he had earlier requested for medical attention, and the nurse that he spoke with probably forgot to remind him of the need for his medication.
“We were surprised when he joined us in the game. We asked him not to participate in the sporting activities since he was complaining about his health. But he insisted and told us that he was fine and would visit the school clinic after the sporting activities. And we all agreed.
“His love for the Yellow House where he belongs made him to participate in the sporting activities. He choose high jump, probably because of his height.
“When he jumped, we thought all was well. A mattress had been provided at the other end of the pitch, but Michael, probably due to his height, jumped and landed on his back beyond where the foam was. He landed on the bare floor and fainted instantly. That was the beginning of the tragedy.
“He was rushed to the school clinic, which was obviously ill-equipped. The medical personnel there tried all they could to revive him, but all was to no avail. When it became obvious that they were fast losing the battle, they rushed him to the nearby Bwari General Hospital where the doctors and nurses also battled until he gave up the ghost.”
At Bwari General Hospital
Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Osayende Osagie said he was around when the late Michael was brought to the hospital, informing that he mobilised all the doctors to save the life of the student. He said the medical team tried, regretting that Michael could not be saved.
He, however, refused to release the medical records of the late Michael. He said the request must be put in writing and passed through appropriate channels, including the Federal Capital territory (FCT) Hospitals Management Board before such records could be released to anyone.
At the home of the Ogbes
As the news of Michael’s sudden death filtered in, the entire neighbourhood became disorganised. Shock, disbelief and confusion pervaded the air. Friends, family members and neighbours rushed from far and near to the home of the Ogbes to get the true picture of the story.
The reporter was one of the early callers. It was indeed a harvest of tears. While some neighbours congregated inside the house to console with the wailing mother, some others were standing in pairs by the wall and under the tree, discussing the ugly development.
Some blamed Michael’s death on the school management who they said exhibited a careless attitude towards the lives of their students. But others heaped the blame on the Ministries of Education and Health for not regularly carrying out their supervisory roles on schools.
Michael’s mother was grief-stricken. She told the reporter that the school should be held responsible for the death of her son. She accused the school management of ineptitude and carelessness in handling the affairs of the students.
“I am a widow. In fact my husband died 12 years ago, and I had invested all the resources I had in my children. As a matter of fact, I have secured university admission for Michael at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Canada and all documentations have been processed. Now, I have lost him due to the carelessness of ASACS school management.
“He was a great and young bright mind that took interest in software engineering and cyber security. He achieved what people at his age couldn’t achieve. We had great plans for him to get better and quality education abroad to support his IT plans. But all that has gone with the wind. I will greatly miss him,” she said.
She said the relevant authorities should charge the school management for manslaughter. She also accused the federal Ministries of Education and Health of failing in their responsibilities to properly supervise the schools to regularly keep them in check on how they run their schools.
School keeps mum
Meanwhile, the school authorities are keeping mum on the matter. Attempts by the reporter to speak with the principal, general manager and proprietor of the school were unsuccessful.
The school principal wasn’t on seat when the reporter called, but the general manager declined comments. He said the proprietor had not authorised him to speak with journalists on the issue.
When contacted on phone, the proprietor, Dr. A.B Ekwere, neither answered his calls nor replied text messages sent to his phone.
